Google Play Is Working On A New Feature That Lets You Queue Downloads When Using Mobile Data
Perhaps the reason some people are still skeptical about Android devices is the fact that the Data consumption on Android devices are exuberant and every Android user out there is aware of this, the frequent update of installed apps and also some background processes consuming data without the user’s consent is appalling. I could remember subscribing on my Android device some months ago, a subscription that is supposed to span one month was exhausted in two weeks, frustrated I called my service provider customer care representative with high hopes that the issue will be solved but it turned out to be a waste of time.
In a bid to make Android devices more better, Google Play is testing a new feature that allows Android users using its Google play app to postpone a file that is to be downloaded until there is a WiFi connection saving the user extra data charges, as we speak the beta version(unstable version) of this feature only provides you with two options which are Download now(when clicked it allows you to download the file irrespective of its size on mobile data) and Wait for WiFi(Allows you to queue the file until there is a WiFi connection which saves you extra data charges).

Wow!!! I like the fact that I can be downloading now, irrespective of the size of the file and then switch to wait for WIFI, allowing me to queue the file until there is a wifi connection. Amazing!!! This saves me extra data charges indeed!!!
Thanks #gadgetsreview for keeping me updated. You rock!!!!
Thanks for this information
This is a welcome development. Thanks for this info #GadgetsReviewNG
Well, I’m not gonna get too excited. No Wi-Fi in my area so, no need to start jubilating. Our country is one of those that pathetically develop technologically slowly. Otherwise, by now, with the rate of Internet users in the country, Wi-Fi should be everywhere by now!
This will not be helpful, google play has to change everything about that app, just the home page alone will drain your data, talk more of searching for an app and downloading.
They need to work with users ideas/complain, not just for them.
it is a good move by google but in my own opinion if they can also include when an app is downloaded,it is finish no more update i will like it the most
This is a good news. Have experienced such before too. A month data will finish up within two weeks. So annoying.
Nice one…..Thanks so much, no more chopping Data
