But since you are already here, I’m guessing that you have already bought the Itel 1516 Plus and you are confused as to how you want to insert your SIM card. You have probably turned and turned your phone searching for where you are going to insert the SIM. Well, in my case I spent almost 45 minutes looking for a way to open a non-existent SIM tray or, at least, a back cover. So you see, you are not dumb or anything, Itel just did not make it conspicous as per where the SIM cards should go but we are now going to make it very easy for you to insert your SIM card into your Itel 1516 Plus with graphic images. Let’s do this!
STEP 1: KNOW WHERE YOU SUPPOSED TO INSERT YOUR SIM CARD ON THE ITEL 1516 PLUS
The truth is, we have become very used to the way many smartphones work; their sim slot is either at the back when you open the battery cover or at the side in the form of a sim tray. But Itel mobile changed the position of the sim slot in the Itel 1516 plus. The slot it the top of the phone just beside the camera and the phone flash. If you take a look at the picture above you will see the space at the top above the camera from where you can pull open the slim slot.
STEP 2: PULL OPEN THE SIM SLOT OF THE PHONE
STEP 3: INSERT YOUR TWO SIM CARDS, REPLACE COVER AND RESTART PHONE
After pulling back the cover, you would see the space for two sims; insert your sims appropriately and replace the cover. Personally, I have encountered some “issues” after inserting my sim card as it does not automatically show that a sim card has been inserted in the Itel 1516 plus. All you need to do is restart your phone and it will start recognising your new sim.
So there you have it folks! It is quite easy to insert your sim card into the Itel 1516 plus. Was this article helpful? Do you still have issues? Let us know in the comment box below.
